Typing Test and Practice Score Records

    All Typing Scores

What Are All Typing Scores Used For?

All Typing Scores lets you browse and search score records saved during typing tests and practice sessions. You can filter records by score source, input type, time range, and username. Browse public scores from different users or switch to the personal records associated with your current identity. Unlike the leaderboard, which displays only the best scores, this page focuses on the history of individual tests and practice sessions, helping you track score changes and training progress.

Official Typing Tests and Practice Scores

Three source filters are available: All, Official Tests, and Keyboard Practice. Official test records show speed and accuracy from full-text typing tests, while keyboard practice records show results from course exercises. You can filter each source separately to avoid comparing official tests with focused key-position exercises. Keyboard course scores are saved by course, making them more suitable for comparison with previous results from the same course.

    Which Score Types Are Supported?

The page supports official typing test categories such as Chinese, English, and Wubi, as well as specialized training categories such as video transcription, video dictation, and Wubi encoding. Each type uses different input content and training methods. Use the type filter to find the records you need. Since speed units and calculation methods may differ between practice modes, check the unit labels before comparing speeds across categories.

    Filter by Time Range

You can choose Today, Last 7 Days, or All Time to view records from a specific period. Combine the time filter with score source, input type, and nickname search to find recent results, review historical tests, or check a user's practice activity during a particular period.

    Search Scores by Nickname

Enter a username or nickname in the search box to find the corresponding score records. Nickname search can be combined with source, type, and time filters to narrow the results. Public scores are displayed using the user's current nickname. If a user changes their nickname, the updated name will also appear on historical scores.

    All Scores and My Scores

The page provides two views: All Scores and My Scores. All Scores displays user records that match the current filters, while My Scores shows personal records associated with the current browser identity. Personal records help you review typing test performance and training progress. Keyboard course practice results are also available in personal records. When loading the current identity, the page only retrieves an existing identity and does not automatically create a new user just because you visit the score page.

    Understanding Score Statistics

Three statistics are displayed at the top of the page: highest speed, average speed, and number of records. These statistics use the same source, view, type, and time filters as the current score list, so they update whenever you change the filters. Highest speed shows the best performance within the selected results, average speed indicates your overall level, and the record count shows how many scores match the current filters. Different input types may use different speed units, and unit information is displayed when needed.

    Score Details and Speed Charts

You can open an individual record to view details about a test or practice session. Official test details may include elapsed time, speed, accuracy, backspace count, and overall score. If speed variation data is available for a record, you can also view a speed chart showing changes during the test and helping you understand your typing rhythm and fluctuations. The information displayed depends on the data saved with the corresponding record.

    Score List and Pagination

Records are displayed in reverse chronological order, so the latest test and practice results appear first. You can display 20, 50, or 100 records per page and browse additional results using pagination. Filters and nickname search can be combined to find specific scores among a large number of historical records.

How Do Practice Scores Differ from Public Leaderboards?

Official typing tests are mainly used to evaluate continuous text input speed and accuracy. Official test results that meet the leaderboard rules may qualify for public rankings. Keyboard touch-typing courses, video transcription, video dictation, and other specialized exercises are different types of practice. Their scores are primarily used to track training and personal progress. In particular, keyboard course practice scores do not count toward official typing test ratings or public speed leaderboards. This prevents short text exercises or specific-key drills from being directly compared with full-text typing tests.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between All Typing Scores and the typing leaderboard? The leaderboard compares the best test results that meet its ranking rules. All Typing Scores displays the history of individual tests and practice sessions, allowing you to review changes over time.

Can I view only official typing test results? Yes. Select Official Tests as the source filter. You can then narrow the results by Chinese, English, or Wubi.

Can I view keyboard practice scores? Yes. Select Keyboard Practice as the source, or switch to My Scores to view your personal course practice records. Course scores are not included in the public speed leaderboard.

Do highest speed and average speed change when I apply filters? Yes. The statistics use the same filters as the score list and update when you change the source, type, or time range.

Can I find a specific user's historical scores? Yes. Enter the user's nickname in the search box and combine it with score type and time filters.

Why do different scores use different speed units? Chinese, English, Wubi, and specialized exercises may use different input methods and speed measurement units. Check the unit information for each category and avoid directly comparing speed values from different types.

To improve your practical typing speed, start with keyboard practice to learn finger placement, then take official typing tests to evaluate your performance. To compare your best results, visit the typing leaderboard and view scores that meet its ranking rules.
