    Chinese, English & Wubi Rankings

    Typing Speed Leaderboard

Separate Rankings for Chinese, English, and Wubi

The leaderboard has three categories: Chinese, English, and Wubi. Each category is tracked and ranked separately. Since different input methods use different speed measurement standards and units, scores from different categories are not compared on the same leaderboard. Switch between categories to view the corresponding speed data.

    Leaderboard Time Ranges

Three time ranges are available: Last 7 Days, Last Month, and All Time. The Last 7 Days leaderboard shows valid scores from the past seven days, the Last Month leaderboard shows valid scores from the past month, and the All Time leaderboard displays all historical valid scores. The exact time boundaries are calculated consistently by the server.

Only Each User's Best Score Counts

For the same user, only their best valid score is retained for each typing category and time range. This prevents multiple attempts by one user from occupying several ranking positions. The leaderboard displays official typing test results. Keyboard course practice records are stored separately and are not included in public rankings.

    Overall Score and Ranking

The leaderboard primarily sorts results by their overall score. The overall score is based mainly on typing speed, while also taking accuracy and backspace count into account. Therefore, a high typing speed with many errors does not necessarily result in a higher rank. The page also provides information such as today's number of ranked users, your personal best, and your current rank to help you understand your performance.

    Handling Invalid Scores

Scores that do not meet the submission rules will be rejected. Some scores with abnormal typing speeds or an obvious mismatch between speed and character count may remain in the user's personal records, but will be marked as not ranked and excluded from the public leaderboard.

    Guest Identity and Score Records

You can take an official typing test and submit your score without registering. When you submit a score for the first time, the system automatically creates a guest identity and assigns a default nickname, such as "Guest2869721". Opening the leaderboard only retrieves your current identity information and does not automatically create an account. You can change your nickname on the My Typing Scores page. Your updated nickname will also appear on your historical scores.

    Pagination and Leaderboard States

The leaderboard supports 20, 50, or 100 scores per page, with pagination for browsing additional rankings. If there are no scores, an empty leaderboard message and a link to start a typing test will be displayed. If data loading fails, you can try reloading the leaderboard.

How Does the Typing Speed Leaderboard Work?

View official typing test rankings for Chinese, English, and Wubi. Each category is ranked separately, with results available for the last 7 days, last month, and all time. The leaderboard also shows today's ranked users, your personal best, and your current rank.
    • Chinese, English, and Wubi scores are ranked separately using their respective speed units
    • Choose from three leaderboard time ranges: Last 7 Days, Last Month, and All Time
    • Only each user's best valid score is kept for each category and time range
    • Overall scores are based mainly on speed, with accuracy and backspace count also considered
    • Abnormal scores may remain in personal records but are marked as not ranked
    • View summary information including today's ranked users, your personal best, and current rank
    • Display 20, 50, or 100 scores per page and browse additional results with pagination
    • Keyboard course practice scores are stored separately and excluded from the public typing leaderboard
The leaderboard compares performance in official typing tests, while keyboard course practice is designed to help you learn key positions and finger placement. These two types of scores are tracked separately. You can take a typing test without registering and manage your personal scores and nickname on the My Typing Scores page.
