The calendar marks festivals and holidays to help users quickly determine whether a specified date corresponds to a festival or holiday. Holiday information is related to official annual holiday arrangements issued by the State Council. Specific holidays, adjusted working days and make-up workdays should be based on the official annual schedule.
The actual festival date and the official holiday arrangement are not always the same. For example, a traditional festival may have a fixed calendar date, while the actual number of days off, adjusted rest days and make-up workdays may change according to the annual notice.
